Development and Foundation
The Development and Foundation Office raises philanthropic funds from the community in alignment with the College’s mission and manages the distribution of funds to support Â鶹ӰÊÓ students (college affordability) and campus programs.
The Â鶹ӰÊÓ Foundation’s vision is educational opportunities for all. To achieve this vision, Â鶹ӰÊÓ Foundation partners with generous community members to secure resources that transform lives. The Â鶹ӰÊÓ Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors.
Public Information Office
The award-winning Â鶹ӰÊÓ Public Information Office (PIO) exists to create awareness and share the story of Â鶹ӰÊÓ, and its impact on the community.
PIO develops and executes strategic marketing communications campaigns; implements the District’s governmental relations; and serves the college community by offering publicity, promotion, advertising, marketing, and branding assistance. This office also acts as a resource before, during, and after emergency situations by providing guidelines and information to help manage crisis situations.
MiraCosta Alumni
MiraCosta Alumni play an important role in supporting Â鶹ӰÊÓ's success. Alumni allow graduates to engage with each other, connect with their alma mater, and interact with current students. Alumni promote workforce development and can provide access to internships.
Whether you have taken a class, completed a certificate, or earned a degree, you are considered an alumnus because once a Spartan, always a Spartan.
