- Meet or schedule time with an academic counselor.

- Go on an Oceanside Campus tour.
- Attend information sessions and workshops.

Information Sessions from 2025
- Supporting Students’ Basic Needs
- The Campus Assessment, Resources, and Education (CARE) program offers a holistic approach for students facing challenges that impact their academic success. In this workshop, you’ll learn about CARE’s services and how to access support for basic needs such as food, transportation, parenting resources, and legal aid.
- Get in, Get Help, Get Ahead: What the Welcome Center Can Do for You
- A practical session that walks students through common college hurdles (paying for school, registering for classes, academic planning) and shows how the Welcome Center supports them at each step. We'll also teach you how to use the Spartan Chat to ask the right questions to get fast, helpful answers!
- Money for College: Financial Aid Application
- Join us for a hands-on workshop to complete your FAFSA or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) for fall financial aid. Our team will guide you through the process and provide support for all students, including specialized support for our undocumented students and for students who have undocumented family members.
- Study Abroad 101
- Come explore exciting summer and semester programs and the steps to make studying abroad a reality. Learn how to fund your adventure with scholarships and financial tips to help you get started!
