General Contract Information
- Honors contracts extend an opportunity for individualized and intensive instruction in close communication between student and instructor.
- Honors Contracts are requested by the student through Surf. See below for detailed instructions.
- Any student can pursue an honors contract 鈥� a student does not have to be a member of the Honors Program.
- Students may use contracts toward completion requirements for Certified Honors, UCLA TAP, or UCI Honors Transfer.
- Please note, not all courses offer honors contracts, and not all instructors teach honors contracts. Some honors courses are typically offered only as an onsite class, only online, or only on one campus.
- Only a limited number of contracts are available each semester. Honors contract requests that are both timely and complete will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fall 2026
- 8 WK (Early): August 28, 2026
- 12 WK: September 25, 2026
- 14 WK: September 14, 2026
- Regular 16 WK: September 9, 2026
- 8 WK (Late): October 23, 2026
Spring 2027
- 8 WK (Early): February 12, 2027
- 12 WK: March 12, 2027
- 14 WK: February 27, 2027
- Regular: February 24, 2027
- 8Wk (Late): April 16, 2027
Summer 2027
- All Courses: June 18, 2027
