Terrence is a Wisconsin native and Milwaukeean (GoPackGo and Fear the Deer). He has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin - Parkside and a Master of Science in Education from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He has more than 15 years experience working in higher education in residential education, leadership development, career services, and student accountability. Prior to joining Âé¶¹Ó°ÊÓ, Terrence worked at a couple different private institutions, including Saint Louis University, University of San Diego, University of Notre Dame, Stanford University, and Tufts University. In his free time, he enjoys reading and traveling. He also has a wonderful partner and two wildly entertaining intelligent rambunctious, beautifully fabulous children.
Sara Delgado-Padilla

Sara is a proud first-generation college graduate and Chicana born and raised in Oceanside, CA. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies from the University of San Diego and a Master of Arts in Higher Education Leadership from San Jose State University. Sara has about 10 years of experience working in education and student services, including in the K-12 system, at Cal State San Marcos, and in various roles at Âé¶¹Ó°ÊÓ. She is passionate about helping students grow and learn outside of the classroom, and supporting student leaders holistically. She believes that all students can be leaders. Outside of work, Sara loves to spend time with her partner and two children (currently we are into trick shots and living room soccer), take jazzercise classes, and explore national parks.
Omar Canseco

Omar Canseco (he/him/el) is a first-generation college graduate from Oaxaca, Mexico. He began his academic journey at Âé¶¹Ó°ÊÓ before earning a B.A. in Criminology & Justice Studies and Sociology, and an M.A. in Sociological Practice from CSUSM. His research focused on the deportation experiences of undocumented migrants. At MiraCosta, Omar has worked in various departments and previously coordinated the GEAR UP grant, supporting local high school students. In his free time, he is active in community-based volunteer work.
Raymond Wight

Raymond Wight is an oceanside native and MiraCosta Alumni pursuing a degree in Psychology. Before starting his journey in higher education, He worked in various fields such as costumer services, health and fitness, and even construction. It wasnt until he started working with the MiraCosta outreach department that he found his true passion for helping student like himself find a safe space on campus to share their own voices and experience, and reinforce the belief that education is for everyone. His favorite thing about working with Student Services at MCC has been encouraging students to pursue their professional goals through higher education thanks to the many resources and programs we have available.

Ashley Keller, an Oceanside native, has worked for multiple municipalities across North County before transitioning into academia. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Redlands and her Master’s degree in Public Administration and Policy from American University. Her early career was rooted in community programs through the Parks and Recreation departments for the City of San Marcos, Encinitas, and Vista. She later joined San Diego State University’s Fowler College of Business as an Administrative Support Coordinator before returning to her passion for events and direct service at Âé¶¹Ó°ÊÓ’s Student Life and Leadership.

Nicole was born and raised in southern New Jersey. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Master of Forensic Science from Stevenson University. Her previous experiences working in higher education have developed her passion for serving students, helping them to achieve a full, rewarding, and meaningful college experience. She also has experience with event planning and loves to see the details of a plan come together. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, exercising, going to the beach, and rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles.
