Volunteer at the CARE Free Food & Resource Market Events
If you are a student, faculty, staff, or community member interested in volunteering at the food distribution events, please complete our and/or contact us with any questions at care@miracosta.edu.
Students, faculty, staff, and community members are encouraged to volunteer their time assisting at our CARE Free Food & Resource Market (food distribution) events. Volunteers are needed to set-up, sort produce, bag produce, organize food items, and distribute food to students. For larger groups or programs that would like to volunteer or if you are a campus or community resource wanting to table at our event, please contact us about signing up via care@miracosta.edu.
Volunteer at the Food Pantry
If you are interested in volunteering on a regular weekly basis at any of our food pantries (Oceanside Campus, San Elijo Campus and/or Community Learning Center), please fill out the .
Volunteers are needed to assist students when accesing the food pantry and checking out and to restock and help maintain the space. Once you fill out the form, we will contact with more information or you can reach out to our team with your availability or any questions at care@miracosta.edu.
Make a financial contribution
The MiraCosta Food Pantry and CARE Free Food & Resource Market (formerly known as Farmer's Market) is a campus-wide collaboration and is sustained through Categorical Grant Funds and the financial contributions from community, faculty, staff, and students. Financial contributions can be coordinated through the Âé¶¹Ó°ÊÓ Foundation Office: 760.795.6645.
