Dear America Campus-Wide Book Club

Weβre launching our campus-wide book club, featuring Dear America, Notes of an Undocumented Citizen by Jose Antonio Vargas, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and undocumented immigration
rights activist. Born in the Philippines in 1981, Vargas moved to the U.S. at the
age of twelve and later discovered that he was undocumented. His powerful memoir provides
an intimate glimpse into the immigrant experience in America. In the first session
of this series, weβll focus on Part 1 of this compelling work.

You can find a year-round . Throughout October, many items will be on display at the library. We encourage you to explore this valuable collection and expand your understanding of Pilipinx history and culture.
